Recipe for Foodservice Success

Recipe for Foodservice Success was developed to help hospitality businesses manage their restaurants and eateries during an economically turbulent 2009. Foodservice companies Unilever, Simplot and Fonterra partnered to provide collective support to their customers and other eateries by sponsoring this program, which offered practical business advice and encouragement in a non-competitive environment.
PPR worked with Incremental Marketing to secure the support of key industry associations and media. Following the launch, PPR instigated quantitative community research to drive awareness of the program - engaging social commentator Bernard Salt to build the profile of the campaign.

Close to 1,000 eateries registered for the program, and the PPR campaign reached 100% of sponsor customers, 90% of the hospitality industry and 3 million people nationally.
